Meet Shawna & Neil

Shawna

Dr. Shawna Norris is a Managing Partner and Senior Executive Coach at 2Twenty Coaching® LLC, a boutique coaching and consulting firm. 

She is an International Coaching Federation® (ICF) and National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching® (NBHWC) fully credentialed Personal and Executive Coach, a State of Maryland Certified Mediator, and a public speaker with over 20 years of experience in private industry and government institutions. During her career tenure, she has played key leadership roles in crafting and executing multiple strategic organizational plans. Shawna holds a master's and doctoral degree in Public Administration and Health and Wellness Coaching & Clinical Nutrition. She also holds an executive education certificate from Harvard Business School, and multiple certifications in well-respected leadership assessments and tools. 

She is passionate about unleashing human potential, whether witnessing an individual unlock personal wisdom they didn't realize they had or creating, building, and scaling leadership learning interventions that impact the broader organization.

As a personal coach, she facilitates visioning, shifting mindsets, staying grounded through difficulty, and resilience.

As a corporate coach, she fosters psychological safety for others to be deeply introspective, resulting in greater self-awareness and leadership effectiveness.

Neil

Neil Norris, MLS, PMP, PPM, CBC is a Managing Partner at 2Twenty Coaching® LLC, a boutique coaching and consulting firm. 

He is a serial entrepreneur, public speaker, trained legal researcher, Satir practitioner, certified Project Management Professional®, Cognitive Behavioral Coach, certified mediator and current doctoral student. He possesses over 20 years of Fortune 100, technology start-up, and higher education experience negotiating with various stakeholders, creating coalition and generating consensus which taught him how effective communication and meaningful engagement were critical for successful outcomes. 

He has a Masters Degree in Public Administration/Legal Studies and certifications in Anti-Racism/DEIA training and Satir Intensive Training from The University of North Carolina School of Social Work. Neil has also paired his education, professional training and life experiences with his passion for meaningful engagement, effective communication and conflict resolution in order to create positive synergy between people and problems.
